Hey everyone! Today, I’m opening some Pokémon Crown Zenith, specifically the Sea & Sky Box, which features Rayquaza and Kyogre on the front. I picked up these boxes from my local Sam’s Club at a great price, and I’m excited to share my experience with you!
Why Crown Zenith is One of My Favorite Sets
The Crown Zenith set has quickly become one of my favorite Pokémon TCG sets to purchase and collect. Here’s why:
- The alternate art and full art cards are absolutely stunning, making this set a visual treat for any collector.
- The Galarian Gallery cards, which include many of the alternate arts, are both beautiful and unique, holding great value for their quality and rarity.
- This set appeals to both new and seasoned Pokémon fans, thanks to its wide variety of high-quality cards and its ability to surprise collectors with amazing pulls.
Another reason I love this set is its increasing rarity. Crown Zenith is starting to be pushed out of stock and is being removed from many stores, which has made me seriously consider holding onto these boxes as sealed collectibles. However, the excitement of potentially pulling something incredible was too tempting to resist, so I decided to open a few boxes and see if I could add some gems to my collection!
My Top Pulls and Personal Favorites
This particular opening turned out to be pretty lucky! I’ve had mixed results with my recent Pokémon openings (my Evolving Skies pulls weren’t the best), but this time I managed to get some cards that I’m genuinely thrilled about. Here are my top pulls:
- Zacian V GG48
- Deoxys VMAX GG45
- Entei V GG36 – This is a personal favorite! While some may feel its design has an old-school vibe, I think that’s what makes it so special.
- Pikachu GG30
Each of these cards stands out not only for their incredible artwork but also for their value as collector’s items. The Entei V Alternate Art in particular has really grown on me. I’m planning to add it to my permanent collection because of how much it resonates with my personal tastes.
Final Thoughts
The Crown Zenith Sea & Sky Box has proven to be an excellent investment, both for its collectible value and the sheer joy of opening packs. Whether you’re a casual collector or a die-hard fan, this set has something special to offer. With its stunning Galarian Gallery cards and increasing scarcity, Crown Zenith is a must-have for any Pokémon TCG enthusiast.
If you haven’t opened this set yet, I highly recommend grabbing a box while they’re still available—it’s an experience you won’t regret!
